332. Hypnotic thoughts about the spiritual healing versus mind-body healing

Jesus heals a sick man at the pool of Bethesda

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.

333. Hypnotic thoughts about the difference between the spiritual healing and the mind-body healing?

For years I've been asking myself a question: What is the difference between the spiritual healing and the mind-body healing.

In order to answer this question, I have studied extensively the realm of the Christian spiritual healing, and the realm of the mind-body healing / the realm of the healing in hypnosis.

Will cont.

334. "Resist not evil" - can anyone relate to these words of Jesus?

Is the Jesus's admonition "resist not evil" something that anyone could always live by? Or is it a crazy, nonsensical statement?

Jesus was a great teacher, and this is what he pronounces as a way to live in the naturally / frequently evil world.

He says these words in Matthew 5:39, and I've been pondering them on-and-off for many years, but have never arrived and any satisfactory conclusion.

I do not subscribe to any particular religious orientation. My study of the bible has been motivated by the desire to explore the ideas presented in the most-read book on earth.

335. Hypnotic thoughts about some of the supposedly wise quotes

Don't know why this post was removed - if you want to know what it was please follow this link

When you glance over the above presented "pearls of wisdom" without pausing, and giving it a second thought - you may end up hypnotized by what you see.

But if you pause, and think about it, you will realize that these seemingly wise words are a complete NONSENSE !!!

They are nonsense, because repeated mistakes are the most common thing in life - especially, when we are in the process of learning something.

And we do repeat these mistakes in spite of our deciding to not repeat them. We repeat them in spite of doing our best to not repeat them.

Internet is full of similar crap, posing as the wise pieces of teaching.

Don't let yourself to be hypnotized by them!
